New England Patriots Charitable Foundation is the non profit organization started by owner Robert Kraft and his family in 1994. The organization gives many people less fortunate help in many different situations. Last month Robert Kraft gave out $200,000 to community MVP's in his late wife Myra's name. Many of the players will donate some of their free time to helping at food drives or visiting school and children in hospitals. The charity also gives a few lucky winners each year tickets to the Super Bowl. The charity is supposed to raise the spirits and help others as much as possible.

The charity does many good things for the community and the team as well. It helps market off tickets and players and the organization itself as the players wear their jerseys when visiting children. Free merchandise is always given out at charity events. This turns out to be free advertising as well. The team provides the community with services and in return the team gets a good reputation and an increase in advertising.
