1. The easiest aspect of managing the team for me is the ticket pricing. I think this is the easiest because your market research tells you exactly what fans can afford to pay. Once you find the market research all you need to do is rearrange the prices in a way that makes you money as well as keeping the fans happy.

2. The hardest aspect for me is the media planning. The market research ins't as clear as for the ticket prices. There are more factors when deciding which company to advertise with. This is even harder when there is only a $200,000 budget per week. The media planning is the most difficult aspect for me.

3. The goals of managing the business is the same for any other business. To make the most money. There are multiple factors contributing to making money. Another goal is keeping the fans happy and excited about the team. This creates a faithful fan base which will help you sell tickets despite the teams performance. Lastly, you want the team to perform as well as possible. As for every team in sports the better you play the more money you make. The management and owners get more money due to the increase in sales and ticket sales. The players get more because they are the ones performing and getting the owners money.

amateur sports

In the amateur sports assignment we looked at all divisions of the NCAA and the corruption involved in sports. Division 1 is the most competitive division in college sports. Each division gives scholarships or financial aid. Division 1 also gives the most scholarships. Division III doesn't give any scholarships but does give financial aid. Cheating and corruption are also a part of sports as well. As Jackie Robinson west little league found out the hard way, cheating has consequences. Not everyone who cheats gets caught unfortunately but eventually it has repercussions. Cheating occurs in all sports in all leagues at all levels and isnt going anywhere.

New England Patriots Charitable Foundation is the non profit organization started by owner Robert Kraft and his family in 1994. The organization gives many people less fortunate help in many different situations. Last month Robert Kraft gave out $200,000 to community MVP's in his late wife Myra's name. Many of the players will donate some of their free time to helping at food drives or visiting school and children in hospitals. The charity also gives a few lucky winners each year tickets to the Super Bowl. The charity is supposed to raise the spirits and help others as much as possible.

The charity does many good things for the community and the team as well. It helps market off tickets and players and the organization itself as the players wear their jerseys when visiting children. Free merchandise is always given out at charity events. This turns out to be free advertising as well. The team provides the community with services and in return the team gets a good reputation and an increase in advertising.
